By the end of this module, you will be able to;
1. Differentiate between confidentiality, data protection, Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests.
2. Identify examples of information governance including confidentiality and the Caldicott principles, data protection, freedom of information rights and subject access requests
3. Evaluate your own practice of confidentiality and data protection
4. Describe the principles of good record keeping, security, correction retention and disposal
5. Identify and discuss where records have not been kept properly and explain the potential consequences of this
6. Describe your organisations policies on the Caldicott principles, General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), The Freedom of Information Act and Subject Access Requests, and identify where you can find local information.
7. Describe your responsibilities with regards to Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests
